eDiscovery: Abandoned EMail Archives - a Discovery Risk

Webinar approx. 60 min. (1 hr. CLE)
Abandoned E-Mail Archives

Many organizations have terabytes or even petabytes of dark data sitting on file shares, SharePoint and even employee PSTs. This dark data has become a huge liability due to eDiscovery requirements.

There is another even darker data repository that that many don’t know about and can be an even bigger risk to organizations – abandoned or discontinued email archives.

The bottom line is that if an abandoned email archive data exists, you may have to access it during eDiscovery at a huge cost so it’s better to proactively migrate it out of the abandoned email archive in a reviewable format so that it can be accessed quickly when needed.
