General: Improve Communication to Enhance Case Presentation

Webinar approx. 60 min. (No CLE)
At least 85% of communication is through body movement. Eight percent is verbal and seven percent is tonality. (Levan, 2002) Although this is a commonly quoted statistic, most of the people who present material to the public ignore what their body communication "says" to their audiences. To make matters
worse, most orators spend a majority of their time and effort creating an effective verbal presentation. Hence, they are spending over 50% of their time to be only 15% effective because much of the verbal information gets lost in the delivery without the proper non-verbal accompaniment. Audiences frequently become confused with the articulated information because the presenter has not learned how to use his body movement to convey the information effectively.

• Learn to change body movement to gain and keep audience attention and strengthen delivery style.
• Learn how to align the verbal and non-verbal message to improve clarity of presented material.
